Jesus your my super hero
You're my God my best friend...

What makes me think of this because when I think of hero, I think of Jesus who died for us on the cross even though he didn't deserve it. Now that's a true hero.

If someone saved my dog, he would be my hero.
If someone saved my dog from quicksand, he would be my hero.

Hero? What is a hero?
A person who does something for you.
Or for a community.
Such as Jesus, spiderman, batman, etc.

Hero? Who is a hero?
Someone who does what you think you can't do
and keeps on doing it well.
Such as Jesus, my husband, my friend

Hero? Who is a Hero?
Someone you look up to and say
I want to be like him someday.
Such as Jesus, Mom, Dad, teacher, etc.

Hero? Who is a Hero?
No one special. Ordinary people
doing the ordinary every day
Living the inside out life
of Jesus in me.

Sleep and

A few of the places and ways kids can sleep and adults can't:

Just so you don't think we slept all week...

 we actually got to babysit for a new family for an hour or so.  He did really well for being suddenly deposited with unknown people who don't even speak his language!

What Started as...

This morning Michael asked me to cut his hair.  Then he went off to check email "while I got ready." In between getting ready and actually cutting his hair, this happened:

 

Aiden got a hair cut (not as bad as it looks - he was more interested in having the camera than having a picture taken!)

Jasmin sat down for a trim and then asked for this new look

And then Grace didn't want to be left out and bravely asked for a trim and bangs.

Guess you can tell from these impromptu picks who have the cowlicks in our family ;O)
