This last weekend Michael's sister Christina got married. So you can imagine how crowded the last little while has been with people, preparations, presents, and emotions! The weekend ran very smoothly as it had been tightly planned. The wedding was fantastic: very much God-centered and flavored nicely with Sangi and Christina's personalities.
This last weekend Grace was dedicated. It was a simple service, yet made meaningful by the attention given to admonishing us as parents of Grace, and the seriousness given to the act of agreeing to bring Grace up to love God. Grace took all the attention pretty well, being held by many new "aunts", "uncles", "grandmas", and "grandads" and granting them smiles and coos enough to satisfy.
This last weekend this little Hu family was commissioned by Community Pentecostal Church. There is nothing more encouraging than having people pray over us and pledging to go on praying for us! It really drove home the stunning fact that we are leaving Canada in 3 very short (and busy) weeks!!
So you can see this weekend was pretty packed! Believe it or not, Michael didn't even touch a computer for 48 hours!! Grace survived spending Saturday wholly away from home (better than Liz did actually!). Liz enjoyed reminiscing about her own wedding and helping in some food preparations for the rehersal dinner.
