What's Going On?

Nearly a year's worth of pretty much daily biking, and mom's bike needed some deep fixes. The axle and bearings for the pedals looked like this when it was taken apart. There has been a pretty much constant stream of fixes needed between our five bikes (for example we have no original tires left on our bikes), but this one was the biggest. Biking is so much easier now!

Aiden wiggled away diligently and now is the proud owner of a big gap-toothed smile.  The adult teeth are proving slow to come in, so he is already wiggling away at two more teeth. We keep telling him to stop or he'll have no teeth to bite with :o)

Grace is learning to sew for one of her 12th year challenges.  We're working on a pair of shorts.  It's slow going with no sewing machine, and typically only 15-20 min a week, but it is happening.

What makes us so busy we only have 15-20 min a week to sew? Well, school work, other 12th year challenges not yet finished (May is coming soon!), language learning (Grace is learning both Malay and Chinese), outside activities like church youth group and a craft club, time with friends, unexpected ministry opportunities....
