Two Minute Tuesday - Revive

Revive that which is lost
Enter the old forgotten past
Vigorously search in the starry skies
Endure the burdens of buried secrets
Vineyards and pleasures of sweetest grace

Ending of the long-run race.

Revive Him revive the robot
revive the sick.
Revive the thing that comes in your path
REVIVE ME!!!
In the game revive him or her, me or you.

Revive
Come alive
Resurrect
That which was dead
Awaken what was sleeping and
Reveal the path you tread

Revival
Read the Bible
Quicken hearts
And open eyes
Conviction of past sins and then
Repent and cast off lies

Awaken
Come be shaken
Out of dryness
Now comes life
Unite as Christ’s big body

And now reconcile strife!

A few Morning Bible Musings by Grace

Even before I made you
I knew you'd go astray
Yet in my loving kindness
I made you anyway

I blessed you with great blessings
I gave you fruitful lands
I promised your descendants
Will be as more than sand

But you have spurned my blessings
And broken all my laws
And turned to worship idols
With empty gaping maws

So I have sent destruction
Just as I foretold
Your glory will be vapour
Your enemies grow bold

Don't say I didn't warn you
I've told you many times
But you just made your hearts hard
And still, you cross the lines

To exile I have sent you
To pay for all your sins
But if you will turn, repent now
I'll return you to your kin

I've refined you in the fire
And burned your dross away
Walk through the darkest valley
Come out to glorious day

Before the silver rocks and golden hills
Are turned to black by shadows of evil
Please follow me into the brighter day
And take up arms, the ancient darkness slay

Take up your sword, the blade of truth to wield
And from on high, the gift of faith, your shield
Put on your breastplate, clothed in righteousness
Put shoes and belt and helmet to the test

Now take your stand against the evil dark
Come see the line 'twixt good and evil stark
Now listen to the mighty battle call
And charge with joy: "Our God is Lord of All!"

And when the battle has been fought and won
Come kneel and bow before the Christ, God's Son
And lay your battle trophies at His feet
Come taste the joy of Jesus' true love sweet

Two Minute Tuesday - support

Support
Support me. support him. support her. support Catholic. support Prodestintt!!!
 SUPPORT ANYONE!!!!
 (including yourself)......
Support with your life or just with concerns.

Aware or not, you're always supporting something.

“I need more support over here!” I yell over my shoulder as I shove up the board that is about to fall.

Using my shoulder and back to keep up the heavy bord, I bend down and pick up the first support
that failed at its job. I shove the thing back into place as my co-worker runs over with another support.
He shoves the other one into place and we both back away, our hands and arms extended to catch the supports and board if need be. The supports hold. Phew I think.

Support Strong great beams rising upward Tall trees upholding the sky Wide beams soaring into the ceiling The concrete pillars holding everything together Support Battle lines failing, falling Extra help called for Needed supplies coming Reinforcement for the win Support Leaning on another Keeping on going though it is hard One crutching another The beauty of togetherness Support Many hands lifting United in purpose To accomplish the impossible For one alone

Two Minute Tuesday - Curious

“Curious sort of chap,” I say watching the man dressed in bright colours and wearing many layers, cartwheels away.
“You don’t say,” Says my partner, I shake my head and turn back to my tea
“Coming up to us to ask for a lump of sugar using the language of the poets, it’s crazy,” I shake my head.

Always stay curious
Without life is dull
Cannot grow
Always stay curious
Lots of things to mull
More to know
Always stay curious
Fill in the lull
Something to sow

I have always been a curious child. At least, that’s what they say. And it’s true. I love to look at things for hours and figure out how they work. I love to watch the sun come through a bubble and flash into my eyes - but just for a moment. But I think they meant it another way… Oh! Look! It’s a butterfly with golden wings! Let me fly away with you too! Sorry, what were you saying? I’m curious? I suppose I am. No more than you, though, with those lovely white wings. Can you give me a ride?

Aiden's Poetry Project

A few of Aiden's poems from his Poetry Patterns workbook:

Months Poetry

January is both boring and fun.
Jasmin learning how to cook a bun

February, the month for healing,
But also feeling

March time for a beat.
But also a meet.

April before the sea.
Giving the breeze a plea.

May when my mother’s and sister’s birthdays happen.
There will be a lot of napping.

June time for more birthdays, me and my sister!
We will have a blister.

July before august,
We should be our broadest!

August time to fog us!
Or maybe they just lost us!

September to remember
The Bombardier.

October can be a mess
The leaves are so restless.

November pine with an ember
So be a member.

December full of snow.
Though some might just think no!

Diamonte Poetry

        Stormy
            Wet, cold
    Running raining flashing
Lightning thunder wonder awe
   Sparkling clean beautiful
            Sunny, blue
              Clear day

I Saw Poetry

I saw a clock
I saw a clock
Tick tock, tick tock
Time to find my sock
That's a shock

 It’s under the rock

Summer springs up with,

Rejoicing kids and lots of fun.
After a springy start.
Lots of fun.
We don’t want it to end.

Subject Poetry

 Algebra is very annoying
Laying down everything except for math
Grating your brain cells until
Every brain cell yells
Breaking news it's time for Algebra!
Run away!
Algebra, making brain cells explode.

Bio Poetry

Jesus Christ.
Loving, kind, humble.
Wishes to heal the world.
Dreams of  Healing.
Wants to destroy sin.
Who wonders about problems of sin.
Who fears nothing, who is not afraid.
Who believes in his father.
Who loves the world of peace and hope.
Who plans to heal the broken-hearted.
Love the world.
Mercy.
Will come back one day.

Two Minute Tueday - Witness

I witnessed the greatest sight of all today
When I went out early to the tomb
When I went out to pray.
The tomb was empty, Jesus - gone!
Can someone tell what’s going on?
The guards have fallen, as if dead
And the stone was rolled away instead
I’ve come to tell you the great news
I saw it with my own two eyes.
No matter what you think, it’s true
God really was the sacrifice!

A witness I saw a witness. indeed it witnessed Something. It’s an eye witness indeed. Or do you want an ear witness, well that’s a witness indeed. It witnessed this. It's here, our mail is here this witness saw it coming. This one heard it coming.

I am an eye witness, I saw the whole thing with my own two eyes. Who can doubt me? I know I saw it, just like I know I am alive and breathing. I’m not the only witness, my friend here can tell you the same story. Some doubt, all doubt, but that doesn’t matter, I know what I saw, and I told you what I saw. If you don’t believe it, then that’s your problem. I know the truth will aventually show itself, in time you will leave me, in time you’ll wish you’d believe me in the first place because I am a witness. I saw what I saw, and no one can take that away from me.
