It's a Spring day today
Bright sun in blue skies
Winter white shrinking
Uncovering what has long been hidden
Eves and trees dripping
Hidden water rushing under snow
Jackets almost not needed
Spring feels
Lent reminders of Easter coming
Exam time approaching faster than desired
Eager anticipation of gardens awakening
Spring check lists groaningly full
Wet weather chilling house warmth
Melting snows and increased bird twitters

Planned spring cleaning still a week or so away
But we've already begun
Because
We did a bedroom shuffle!
Jasmin to Aiden's room
Aiden to Mom & Dad's old bedroom/mom's office-craft room
Which, of course, uncovered
Areas needing cleaning
We're saying goodbye to Freda
Tomorrow - already?
Off to a boarder with other dogs
To learn some last bits of home etiquette
And then onward to "college"
To become a guide dog!
