We went apple picking at Mountain Orchards, about an hour from here at the beginning of October. It was pretty cold that day, and windy, but still nice. Apple picking was a BLAST! There was lots of farmland around, and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of people...

The actual apple picking we did first. We had to take a ride on a tractor to get to the orchards; we missed the tractor about 4 times waiting for a friend...
Dad bought us some treat snacks while we were waiting. They were GOOD but very sweet.
I saw a corn maze, wanted to go through right then. We picked enough apples in 5 minutes that lasted 2 weeks (thanks to lots of juicing)! Took the tractor back,of course.

Stop 2: straw jump! Straw everywhere, with bales and sections of big plastic pipe to climb on, and even a thingamabob that there's holes to stick your head through. We spent lots and lots and lots(and lots!)of time there; eventually we left because we could go again (it's warm in the straw jump!) soon.

Stop 3: supposed to be the corn maze, but we stopped by the play ground on the way. Aiden loved the mini-tractors.

We didn't go in the official maze entrance (didn't listen to me!), and took illegal shortcuts so we got in and out about 30 minutes! I heard someone say (we were at the middle of the maze)"now it'll take us another 59 minutes to get out!"so I know we didn't do it properly.

Stop 4:s traw jump again!
Daddy came in this time, and on the way we met our friends and played with them in the straw jump. We stayed until the farm was closing for the day! NiNi bought apple cider to have with our supper and we went home.
Thanks for the update, Grace. I especially like the picture of you and Jasmine as farmers. Haha! Fresh apple juice sounds delicious.
