Life is a bit crazy here for us right now...
Arranging and taking trips and meetings
while packing up the house (yet keeping it relatively usable)
while dealing with kids feeling strange and uncertain about all the changes (extra clingy!)
while coordinating ads and sales of our furniture
while showing the house to possible renters and processing applications
while shooting off to various last time appointments and errands
while compiling lists of things to remember to do before we leave - and doing them! -
while coddling sick kids (Both have colds and Grace has pink eye too)
while managing the unexpected complications of being absentee landlords, leaky basements, and...

It's a good thing God is big and that he is our peace!

We've been keeping our corner window's curtains drawn in a bid to keep that corner slightly warmer... the girls play there a lot. They managed to pull the whole thing down yesterday.... revealing the most marvelous display of dragon's tails that Mommy's seen since her childhood! Grace was bug-eyed when Mommy told her they were the tails of the dragons on the roof. But she warmed up to the idea and began telling everyone we met at the stores that we had dragon's on our roof blowing our house down. She was disappointed she couldn't see the dragons on the neighbor's roof even though she could see the tails. Hiding under the snow, they were.

With such a sort time left here, it is a bit more difficult to remember to capture happenings on camera and write posts...

Since Christmas we have begun the process of selling/giving away our stuff. Grace and Jasmin are doing well with that, mostly because they are too busy enjoying their new things from Christmas!
It took us three tries for the girls to really understand how to play with this book of paper dolls, but now it becomes a whole house game often. Mommy gets lots of laughs from seeing the interesting outfits the dolls get!

2010 has many new things in it for us. We will be heading back to Asia in a few short months, which means we have:
3 weeks left in this wonderful house
4 weeks left in Ottawa
15 weeks left in Canada
